ifilm popular star starts stage career

ifilm series star Sam Derakhshani is set to debut on stage, playing a role in theater play "Day 30th, 95'.

The popular star of ifilm series such as 'Pejman' will play the debut role in Ehsan Hajipour's theater presentation.

A plot summary for the theater play reads, "It is not the right time to collect your belongings. We can fix this together, if you stay. By the way, Plasco [building] caught fire.”

Sam Derakhshani began studying Drama at university before leaving his studies unfinished to pursue acting.

Some of the TV series he has appeared in include ‘The Seamen’ (2002), ‘Years of Snow and Violet’ (2006), ‘Prison Bride’ (2007), ‘In the Eye of the Storm’ (2003 – 2009), ‘The Weary-Hearted’ (2009), ‘The Rich and the Poor’ (2010), ‘No Pain, No Gain’ (2011), ‘The Decius City’ (2011), ‘Tell the Truth’ (2012), ‘Matador’ (2013) ‘The Sound of Rain’ (2013) and ‘It's All There’ (2013).

He has also played in movies such as ‘City of Chaos’ (2005), ‘Ominous Seed’ (2008) and ‘The Lighted Path’ (2012).
